Two Months!

#ea5512 The little Musa has turned two month today and will have his first round of vaccination (DTaP, HIB, IPV, Pneumonia, and Rotavirus >> yeah, all is given at the same time) in a week. He has been gaining 4 pounds (almost 2kg) and start wearing “3-6 month” clothes now 😀 Milestones: – Aware and following objects with eyes since 5 weeks – Holding head up since 6 weeks – Start smiling at 7 weeks (not laughing yet) – More vocalizing sounds – Bear more fats on face (chubby cheeks and hidden neck) Bayi dua bulan ternyata sudah bisa diajak berinteraksi dan menemukan pola tidurnya. Musa sepertinya calon banyak ngomong karena sepanjang hari, baik lagi senang maupun sedih, hobi bersuara “wawawa”, “hee hee”, “nggee nggee”, dan sebangsanya (ketahuan lah ya anaknya siapa). Alhamdulillah, Mama jadi makin merasa ditemani. Jam-jam capeknya mulai kebaca, tidur siang dan malam mulai teratur dan lebih panjang durasinya, terutama malam hari, udah jarang begadang (yes!).

Musa Moves into Bath Tub

#ea5512 story Because BLUE for baby boy is too mainstream 😛 thanks Ayako for passing down this tub. Musa Romas finally enjoyed his bath time 😀 this was his third experience, we started to place him in the tub since his second week after his umbilical stump fell off quickly at the 5th day of his life. Bathing steps ala Musa’s mommy and daddy: #1 – Prepare washcloth, baby wash and shampoo, and hooded towel / Siapkan waslap, sabun dan sampo bayi (biasanya jadi satu), dan handuk yang ada ‘topinya’ #2 – Fill up with about 2 inches of warm water (90 degree F or less) / Isi bak mandi dengan air hangat setinggi kira-kira 5 cm #3 – Place the baby in the tub while supporting his head or neck with one hand / Letakkan bayi di bak sambil satu tangan menyangga kepala atau leher bayi demi keamanan >> kali ini Musa lagi nggak dipegangin karena emaknya ambil foto, jangan ditiru kecuali embernya punya desain yang suportif 😀 #4 – Wipe the eyes first from inside to outside with cotton pad an d clear water / Usapkan kapas yang telah diberi air bersih (tanpa sabun) pada mata, bersihkan dari bagian dalam dekat hidung ke bagian luar #5 – Clean the outer side of ears with cotton bud and clear water / Bersihkan daun telinga dengan cotton bud dan air bersih #6 – Gently wash the face, the body using washcloth from top to the bottom, then diaper area / Dengan menggunakan waslap yang sudah diberi sabun, bersihkan wajah, badan depan dan belakang, lalu area kelamin #7 – Lift the baby out of tub, rinse with clear water if you want, but basically it’s not necessary. Just wrap him immadiately with towel to dry off. / Angkat bayi keluar dari bak mandi, bilas dengan air bersih (kami pakai baby shower) atau langsung dibalut dengan handuk tanpa membilas (air bekas mandi bayi dianggap bersih, kecuali kalo doi pipis atau pup didalamnya :P) #8 – Last step is shampoo time. While the baby is wrapped with the towel, wash his hair, put shampoo, and rinse. We just use hand palm to do it, but it’s better if you have rub or brush. Don’t forget to put his diaper soon!
