How 1 Year Old Meal Time Looks Like

#ea5512
Musa’s mealtime look 1 year ++

Keukeuh pake sendok / garpu, mau balik piring, ngunyah kebanyakan (“molo-molo” orang Jawa bilang), buang-buang makanan adalah sebagian potret kekinian Musa saat makan.

It’s almost a month since my last photo for this album. If you see Musa’s meals pics before, you may think he’s an easy baby in eating. Now, Musa has been a toddler, entering period when he’s naturally to be a picky eater. Table foods with salt and sugar (yey, finally!) can’t make he eats more than his baby foods. He still prefers to eat plain fruits or veggies instead of yummy-crunchy-fascinating fried chicken a la KFC.

We have more challenges for sure, but we don’t want to bring down his self-regulate sense that has been built so far. We simply give up the foods to give to him when he doesn’t want to eat.

Month 4 Review of Musa’s Eating

We’re still in the series of Musa eating reviews, in which you can take a peek into my baby diet within his first year of life. Month 3 Review of Musa’s Eating

Eight-months means saying bye-bye to puree. Musa is already used to finger foods since the beginning, so he jumps to chunked foods with no problem.

Yet, he still can’t estimate how much his mouth can handle foods and I often find he’s spitting before eating its spits again. It didn’t happen in the past months. Previously, he kept chewing no matter how much the foods filling up his mouth or actually he might not have idea yet the way to take his foods out when his mouth is full ^_^. In a good perspective, it’s actually a good sign that he’s been able to manage bite per bite.

Final Quarter of MPASI

Saat kontrol ke dokter anaknya pun, dibilangin “just give what you eat”.

Silakan dicoba kalo belum mulai, apalagi kalo si bayi udah masuk usia 9 bulan kaya Musa. BTW maap videonya nggak nyambung.. cuma rekaman makannya Musa sehari-hari aja. Wkwk.
