Country Trip to Mother Farm

I would say again and again that.. we looooooooove farm so much much much! I wasn’t animals lover until I had kid and realized that they are as cute as “Old Mc Donald Had a Farm” song.. Haha. We enjoyed some visits to the farms in Michigan, made lots of memories of fruits picking and animals petting, and last trip to Hokkaido we also had one awesome experience in Earth Dream farm. Today we finally managed to go to the famous farm (they use the term “牧場” alias “cattle” instead, whatever.. ) in Kanto area: Mother Farm. Much effort to reach the location, but all was very well paid once we spent a day to explore the view and attractions inside the cattle. Three of us had a blast! Continue reading

Catching Adachi-Hanabi Before Another Trip to Indonesia

Summer is time for fireworks!
And if you ever happened to see fireworks in Japan (called “hanabi”), I tell you that it’s THE BEST!
Hanabi season usually starts at July when summer vacation for students is ongoing, then continues in a row during August in which obon yasumi (considered as summer holiday for the companies) also takes places. Being sponsored by the government across the country, it’s often said like a moment to show the prestige of each organizer (aka city holder) and an attempt to put the proud of the residents’ hearts since their taxes also contribute to this exhibition 😀

Okay, so because of our plan to visit Indonesia (aka “mudik”) in August, we looked for the chance to see hanabi beforehand. We finally went to this No.2 Famous Tokyo Fireworks last Saturday (2017/07/22) and captured almost full-time show either in videos and pictures while persuading a 2-years-old toddler who was getting scared to all those explosion sounds :))

Hallo, German!

Checked in another leading country in the world, my first European experience ever, and quickly firmed up that Japan is still no. 1 we can expect for convenience.. and might be also for all perfection in life only if they’re religious and not workaholic 😄😄😄. Alhamdulillah..

Arus Balik versi Midwest

Loooove the city! Kotanya nggak serame New York atau Jakarta, tapi udah lengkap apa aja ada, daaan masih lumayan bersih. *padahal sebenernya lagi ada perlu sama visa* Ini cerita mudikku.. Mana ceritamu? 😀

When the Library Made Us Upset..

#ea5512

My heart was breaking and I felt so sorry to Musa this morning. There was an interesting event in the library we’re used to go that’s only available this summer: Play and Learn for Age 1-3 with experts invited. Musa had found his toy and played with other kids for few minutes before we were told about signing up and not allowed to join them at all because we missed to register T_T. The coordinator said the program has been full for all weeks with no clue how many kids they want to keep and why we can’t ask to be waiting list. There was a participant leaving earlier yet we were not offered to go in -_-.

I was so upset. We are loyal participant of library’s story time every week and I looked forward to join this program since a month ago. Recent weeks I was so busy with trips plus events and didn’t pay attention to event details. However, I always kept in mind that I would have event on June, 3. See my second photo! That is the ONLY publication I know about this event. I put it on my working table and saw it every day, but the information “registration is required” was failed to catch my focus. It’s too little between long text, huh? Some other mommies looked misguide too.

Lesson learned:
– Read information carefully
– Don’t be a procastinator. If you have read an instruction, there’s usually a time limit to follow it, so just do immediately
– I wish I could design better advertisement than this so people don’t miss the important thing to do. Hahahaha
