#recipega’s bento Oct 2016 edition, a memory of surviving onemonth living at the hotel without stove. All menus can be prepared with Japanese ricecooker.
Tuna Avocado Sub
#Tuna and #avocado are beyond great to pair up in a #sandwich (a.k.a. #sub) for #breakfast! No stove or oven required, unless you want to grill the #buns a lil bit. #tunasalad recipe: drain the #cannedtuna (#lighttuna flakes), mixed with #mashedavocado (should be #ripeavocado) + onion cuts + diced celery (can be replaced with cucumber) + lemon / lime juice (I skipped it and used #honey instead :D) + salt pepper if desired. Serve with #lettuce or other #crunchyveggies😋. Posted by @egadioniputri via Instagram
First Bento in Japan Life Part 2
You may know that we posted some updates before on this blog about our moving. Yeah, being back into Japan life brings much sensation for us, moreover now we are parents. There must be many new things to learn in Japan’s kids world, but the engineer life definitely will change as well since Aisar is no longer working for Japanese company. No overtime work is the goal 😛 Bento (lunch box) should not be necessary everyday too considering that his office is surrounded by a number of spots to grab the foods (restaurant, cafe, supermarket, minimarket, etc. – except cafetaria! yeah, no cafetaria in his office.. but, I realized later that it’s common in Tokyo.. people prefer to take few steps outside their working zone for lunch while refreshing the brains :D)
#recipega’s First #bento for hubby to work in his new working place with store-bought #fishkatsu, #habanerohotsauce, and simple cooking of eggs using that-advanced-yet-too-expensive Japanese ricecooker we purchased yesterday (like 300% more pricey than our #ricecooker in Michigan). Nooooo 😭😭😭
Well, at least “ケーキ” (cake) mode seems useful to substitute stove while our stay at hotel. I made egg mushroom spaghetti for breakfast this morning in ricecooker too.

Good Bye, Farmington!
Goodbye, Farmington! Thanks for being a wonderful living place ❤️
One day left tomorrow before flying and we’ll spend it in Musa’s hometown. Sorry for those whom we can’t make to meet yet. You know, moving house with active toddler (who destroyed everything you arranged) and workaholic man (who wanted to work in office up to the last day) is not easy deal. Hahaha.

#ea5512 Otsukaresama! Saying goodbye to car yesterday (9/24). Bought second on craiglist and sold it out at the same site with a lil bit higher price. LOL. We’ll definitely miss the family-moments in our rides.
