#ea5512 – I think I don’t need a birthday party or celebration anymore. There were so much blessings this week, everyday from Monday to Saturday 🙂 Alhamdulillah, minggu ini selalu ada free foods tiap hari. Dari kiri atas ke kanan bawah: syukuran tujuh hari anak tetangga dari Saudi/Thailand, roti2 lezat di baking class, kue n coklat Valentine-an di English class :P, cookies dan desert enak2 di tea group meeting, tumpeng syukuran 35 hari anak temen dari Indonesia, diskonan all-you-can-eat frozen yoghurt yg selama ini cuma dilihat dari luar toko T.T, dan sisa stok makanan dari community dinner di masjid. The more we get, the more we should share.. I hope I can be a more caring person and so does my baby-to-be.

Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura

Shrimp and unusual veggies #tempura for dinner this night. First time dipping #broccoli, #greenpepper, #eggplant, and #asparagus in tempura batter. All tasted goood, esp. asparagus and broccoli..never thought to #deepfry them before 😀 I still used the same #recipe as I’ve practiced since four years ago: 100 g flour, 100 ml cold water, and 1/2 egg, sometimes by adding #saltpepper but basically no seasoning is needed. #recipega #天ぷらPosted by @egadioniputri via Instagram

Cheesecake Without Egg

No springform pan no cry. Without egg isn’t bad. #ea5512 love this #cheesecake! Filling is inspired by #vitchen dot com recipe with adjustment: 2 packages (8oz each) #creamcheese + 2 cups (used up 1lb package) #sourcream + 1 cup white sugar (I reduced about 2tbs) + 1 tsp #nonalcohol #vanilla essence + 1/4 tsp salt + 1 tbs #limejuice (don’t have lemon juice) + 2 tbs corn starch. Happy #baking! #recipega

Our #5 House Moving

#ea5512 story – Goodbye, #Northwood V! Thank you for all memories within our first five months in #AnnArbor, especially for today, when we had the craziest house-moving ever (5th moving during marriage) in the midst of one day full #winterstorm and #heavysnow, and also an Indonesian potluck with around 25 people coming. We moved to another #studenthousing with smaller size, one bedroom, and one floor to be more convenient. It’s closer to grocery and masjid too. Thanks guys for helping us!

One day trip to Dearborn, MI, USA

Friday’s escape to Dearborn, another largest city in Michigan where most residents are Middle Eastern ancestries and the world headquarters of Ford Motor Company is located. It was like a little nostalgia for #ea5512 trip to Saudi Arabia two years ago.

Islamic Center of America: The largest mosque / masjid in the town (Shia)
Rababe Meat Market: This store has a high rating on Google and located in a strategic location in the side of main rode, but the price isn’t affordable for us, at least if compared to halal butchers in Ann Arbor.
First time wearing sunglasses since come to USA #forgetit 😀
